Like being the only naked person in a crowd.
Honesty. Wit. And the art of sticking out like a sore thumb. Judith Podell’s memoir tells stories of her life on a highly entertaining level, meant for anyone who has ever bared it all.
About the Book
Monkeyface is the story of a life well-lived by an extraordinary woman
Judith Podell tells her stories with a mixture of humor and levity that make you feel like you’re sitting with an old friend. Monkeyface muses on growing up in New York City, the joys and perils of parenting, succeeding in sales in the male-dominated 1970s, and the complex emotions of growing up Jewish in America.
Judy is able to communicate deep ideas and feelings through these essays, often in fewer than 1,000 words, which takes her memoir to another, highly entertaining, level.
